Beavs land commitment from OK athlete

It has been a whirlwind few days for Tahlequah (Okla.) Sequoyah athlete Zack Robinson. Oregon State has been in contact with the 6-foot-2, 195 pound four-sport athlete for months, but finally offered him a scholarship late last week.
Late Sunday reports started circulating from his head coach that Robinson had committed to the Beavers. We checked in with him and he confirmed that he had not committed yet.

Fast forward a few days and he decided to make it official.
"I committed last night (to Oregon State)," Robinson told BeaverBlitz.com via text message on Tuesday.
Robinson is a standout for Sequoyah playing football, basketball, baseball. He also runs track for the Indians.
While he played wide receiver and defensive back for Coach Scott in high school, Oregon State is recruiting him to play safety or outside linebacker.
Robinson recently picked up an offer from Missouri, but will not take any other official visits other than his planned January 20 trip to Corvallis.
BeaverBlitz.com will have more from Robinson and why he decided to pull the trigger a little later today.
