Beavers offer SoCal corner

Oregon State coaches descended on Rancho Cucumonga High School on Monday evening for an elite camp they were co-hosting with coaches from Utah State. It isn't a secret that the Beavers are looking for top tier defensive backs for the 2017 class, and on Tuesday, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei cornerback Quentin Lake picked up his first PAC 12 offer.

"I was excited for the offer," Lake told BeaverBlitz. "I went to the camp they hosted yesterday to perform in front of their staff and did very well. Overall I'm just excited and humbled."

The 3-star prospect has already picked up several offers including Pitt, Pennsylvania, Army, Navy, Hawaii and San Jose State, but the Beavers being a PAC 12 program is big.

At this time, he has no plans in place to visit Corvallis, but promised to keep BeaverBlitz updated as he sets his visit schedule.
