Beavers land Hawaiian Athlete

The Oregon State football program may be preparing to take on Texas in the Alamo Bowl in a little over a week, but that hasn't stopped them on the recruiting trail. The Beavers are keeping the Hawaiian Island pipeline open with their latest commitment.
The latest commitment comes from Manase Hungalu, a 6-2, 225 pound middle linebacker/defensive end prospect from Kailua-Kona (Hawaii) Kealakehe on the Big Island.

Hungalu visited Oregon State in November and took in the Oregon State football game versus California.
"I am verbally committed to Oregon State," Hungalu told BeaverBlitz.com via text message on Friday.
He was recently named the Big Island D1 defensive player of the year after racking up 86 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions and two blocked field goals for the Waveriders.
