Oregon State has their first commitment in January as Valley Glen (Calif.) Los Angeles Valley C.C. defensive tackle Jeromy Reichner made his decision to commit to the Beavs.

Reichner, a 6-foot-2, 289-pounder who will be a redshirt junior this upcoming season, announced his commitment during his OSU official visit on Saturday.

"Today, God has blessed me with the opportunity ... at Oregon State University on a full scholarship," Reichner said as a part of his announcement. "After a great visit, being around great players, and meeting the new coaching staff, I'm really excited and blessed to say that I will be spending my last two years at Oregon State University."

The Beavers' coaching staff identified Reichner recently and quickly got the process going. Safeties coach Greg Burns had an in-home visit with him earlier in the week and got the official visit set up with Reichner.

Reichner is Oregon State's 12th commitment of the 2018 class and the third defensive line commitment, joining Isaac Hodgins and Bradley Bickler.
