"The night before the Army game, I posted on the Beaver Central message board about Jamire Calvin, because he was the lone Oregon State target in the game, and I figured there was a small, small chance he'd pick OSU. After all, Calvin is very, very close friends with Arex Flemings, a Beavs' pledge, but I still thought it was a real long shot.
"After waking up on Saturday morning, seeing reports that Calvin wasn't a lock to Nebraska, and then hearing that Oregon State was very much still in play, I was shocked. Calvin eliminated Oregon State from contention just a few weeks before.
"At the end of the day, this pick up is just flat out awesome for Oregon State. It's a deep class that has two impressive Rivals250 wide receivers (Calvin and Isaiah Hodgins) and a plug and play stud at defensive tackle in Craig Evans."
