THE COMMITMENT
During the summer of 2017, Madison picked up offers from the likes of Washington (his first offer), Utah, Oregon, San Jose State, and Arizona. His sixth offer came from Arizona State last October. But then for whatever reason, most of those schools cooled on him.
Washington State and Oregon State both offered Madison in February of 2018, and he has not landed any offers since (at least, that he's announced).
Since Madison unofficially visited Oregon State in early June, the Beavers were the favorites in his recruitment. Washington State continued to recruit him hard, and Utah was still in the mix as well -- the Utes were one of those schools that offered him a while back but actually stayed on him.
