Jim McElwain - former Florida head coach
Even before McElwain was let go at Florida, the media was asking him questions about the Oregon State opening. It started when CBS Sports' Dennis Dodd speculated that McElwain could leave Florida and bolt to Oregon State. McElwain laughed those rumors off, but now with McElwain out in Gainesville, could he come to Oregon State, where the expectations are not as high and the fan base is not as crazy? McElwain is a Pacific Northwest guy; he's from Montana and played at Eastern Washington.
