West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade running back T.J. Pledger has no shortage of offers. The 4-star running back currently sits at 16 known offers, including eight programs in the PAC 12 (Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, USC, UCLA, Oregon State, Washington and Washington State). He also holds offers from national heavy weights including Ohio State and Michigan. Not bad for a prospect who will just be entering his junior year.
The 5-foot-9, 175 prospect met with Oregon State cornerback coach Cory Hall on Tuesday and the two forged a bond.
"Coach Hall is the man," Pledger told BeaverBlitz. "I can't wait too build a relationship with him. OSU is a good school and I'm excited too see where the future heads."
Cory Hall is in his first spring with the Beavers, but he's already making connections with athletes.
Being that Pledger is a 2018 prospect, he said he is in the early stages of recruitment. He is hopeful to make some trips however in the near future.
"I want to take some visits, like Ohio State and Tennessee," he said. "I'll probably visit some other schools, but I'm still trying figure out what visits I want to spend money on because they are all unofficial."
As a sophomore Pledger rushed for 1,331 yards on 191 carries. He also scored 27 touchdowns. He promised to keep BeaverBlitz updated with his recruitment.
