Soesman couldn't pass up OSU


Adam Soesman is one of Oregon State's more heralded recruits in this class and the Clovis (Calif.) Buchanan safety said he just couldn't pass on the opportunity to be a Beaver.

It wasn't an easy choice. But in the end the 6-foot-2, 190-pound defensive back said he had to go with his heart in a close call.

"It came down to OSU and Northwestern," the nation's No. 52 safety told BeaverBlitz.com. "I liked the academics that Northwestern could offer but it just wasn't for me."
