The next two weekends are big for Oregon State in terms of recruiting. With National Letter of Intent signing day only three weeks off, the Beavers are looking to finish strong with a contingent of top prospects and keep the commitments they've earned along the way.
WHO: This isn't Lawler's first trip to Oregon State. He took an unofficial in early June when he also took in the NIKE Camp in Eugene with Upland teammates. He is currently ranked as the 34th best wide out in the Nation.
SAY WHAT: "I think it is coming down to UCLA, Oregon State, and Cal," Esquivel said. "We will have to see what happens after next week with the official visit with Kenny and who UCLA hires as the wide receiver coach."- Upland coach Mike Esquivel.
WHERE: Lawler originally committed to Arizona State, but backed off that commitment early in the process. Wide receivers coach Brent Brennan is leading his recruiting efforts. It looks like it is down to UCLA, Cal, and Oregon State, however Cal has already gained commitments from five WR's so they may not be looking to add any additional players.
