I wish I could say that I was surprised by the offensive performance, but prior to the game I told ASUDevils.com:
"I think we see Oregon State's lack of a run game kill them again and Sean Mannion struggle under the pressure which will force him into throwing interceptions. However, I do think the Beaver defense plays a tough game and holds Kelly & Co. to under their season average.

Whoa, pretty right on with my crystal ball.
I feared that Beaver Nation was building a false sense of confidence in the Beavers pass happy offense early with the slate of lesser opponents, which we see is in fact the case.
In a way I can see the struggles Mannion faced with USC. He was without three of his usual targets (Hamlett was in, but was not full strength), but the regression continued and the Sun Devils really didn't pressure him all that much (one sack) especially in comparison to the past two games.
