A non-football issue prevented David Gertson from making a trip out to Utah two weekends ago. But it didn't prevent the strong 6-foot-1, 285-pound defensive tackle from making an official visit locally this past weekend so that's exactly what the Westview High School product did. As it turns out, that will be the only trip that Gertson makes as he's decided to go ahead and end his recruitment.
