Hoops: U-M turning it up with 14 Kameron Chatman

TheWolverine.com Michigan's basketball recruiting efforts couldn't have gone much better in recent years, helping build a team that's risen to No. 3 in the national rankings with more outstanding recruits on the way. The Wolverines recently missed on '14 targets Keita Bates-Diop and Jae'sean Tate, but they've made progress with another in Long Beach (Calif.) Poly's Kameron Chatman.
Chatman (6-7, Rivals.com's No. 38 junior prospect nationally) started conversing with Michigan coaches this fall. The high ceiling guard/forward originally from Portland, Ore. has since strengthened his bond with the U-M staff, Poly head coach Sharrief Metoyer said recently.
