Staff Picks: Washington

Scott Hood (5-0)

After last week's brutal loss to Arizona and with Washington battling Apple Cup rival Washington State to stay out of the bottom of the Pac-12 North, turns out Sark the Shark is about as dangerous as that cute goldfish swimming around in your aquarium at home. Steve Sarkisian was supposed to be an offensive guru when he was hired by the Huskies four years ago. But the Washington offense is a mess and quarterback Keith Price looks lost. Washington can't run (90th nationally) or pass (93rd nationally; last in Pac-12) the football at all.In fact, about the only thing the Huskies seem to do well is defending the pass. However, with Sean Mannion set to return from a two-game absence dur to an injury, Oregon State appears ready to pounce. The Beavers are playing as a TEAM about as well as anybody in the country right now. The dream lives on for another week as OSU comes through with a steady performance in Seattle.
