Hutchinson (Kan.) C.C. linebacker Antonio Longino favored West Virginia for much of the early recruiting process until the contact between the two parties suddenly dropped off.

"I lost my phone, and I hadn't heard from them and I was thinking West Virginia doesn't want me anymore," he said.

But as Longino found out that couldn't be further from the truth.
