After being embarrassed on national television in Eugene in a 49-0 shutout, Arizona (3-1) returns to the friendly confides of Arizona Stadium where they have averaged 46.3 points per game and are a perfect 3-0. Oregon State's trip to the desert marks the first time since 2009 that they have started the season 2-0 and the highest OSU has been ranked (18th) entering week five in recent memory. The 2000 OSU Fiesta Bowl team entered the AP Rankings at #23 in week 6.

| PASSING ATTACK | Arizona has always had athleticism and play making ability in the defensive backfield and this year is no different. Arizona has five interceptions this season but is allowing 247.25 yards per game and has given up seven scores through the air. So. S Jared Tevis has two interceptions, five pass break ups, three forced fumbles and is 2nd on the team in tackles with 39. 6-3 221 pound hybrid safety/linebacker Marquis Flowers (Jr) has 4.5 tackles for loss and leads the team in sacks with 1.5. Louisiana native Jonathan McKnight leads the team with three interceptions from his corner position. | Sean Mannion had another big day through the air vs UCLA, tossing for a career high 379 yards and two scores. Mannion did, however throw his first interception of the season. Mannion connected on 68.6% of his passes and showed he could push the ball down field with scoring strikes of 75 and 42. Brandin Cooks ranks 3rd in the nation with 127.5/ypg and Markus Wheaton is 5th with 118.5/ypg. Oregon State is 2nd in the conference with 327.5 yards per game and is gaining 12.36 yards per completion. |
