The biggest question heading into the game is this: can Oregon State do it again? They stonewalled the Wisconsin running game two weeks ago, shutting down Monte Ball. Now they face one of the best rushing attacks through the first three weeks as the Bruins are averaging over 300 yards per game on the ground. The leading rusher in the nation? Beavers, meet Johnathan Franklin (180.33 yards per game). But UCLA can throw it too (310.7 ypg) with QB Brett Hundley, an overnight sensation, directing a spread offense averaging 40.7 points per game. Besides the prolific UCLA offense, OSU's biggest enemy is rust having played the fewest games in the Pac-12. Stopping the run is Job. 1 for the Beavers. Offensively, the Beavers have the skill at wide receiver with Markus Wheaton and Brandin Cooke to give UCLA serious problems in the secondary. The Bruins have made significant strides under first-year coach Jim Mora, but two of their three wins have come over cupcakes Rice and Houston. Hey, at least they can raise the championship flag for the city of Houston. OSU squeaks by in a close, hard-fought affair as the Beavs make a decisive defensive stop at the end of the game. So, which unfortunate member of the UCLA coaching staff gets fired after this one?
